Is this Franchise for you?

The Seebox franchise is for anyone who is passionate about education, and always dreamed of

working for themselves. Because the Seebox uses self-paced learning, and guides the learner

through the videos, questions and experiments, the facilitator does not need to have any

technical knowledge.

Furthermore, you will receive 2 days of training in all aspects of operating your franchise, putting

you on the road to a successful and lucrative business.

Why Seebox Training?

● 86% of engineering students never finish their degree. The learner will get a foundation

in electronics in just 3 months.

● Seebox isn't an educational toy - the learner will master difficult abstract concepts

needed as a foundation for electronic engineering.

● The Seebox's content is based on the CAPS Curriculum for the specialized subjects that

are only taught in Technical Schools (Electronic-, Digital- and Electrical Technology).

● The Seebox's learning style is self-paced and based on active experimentation.

● Seebox is a multi-award winning educational tool, that won 1st prize for its Educational

solution in the Africa Entrepreneurship Awards.

How It Works

Every Seebox is an electronics teacher plus a mobile electronics lab - all in one box. The

Seebox franchisee needs no specialised knowledge of electronics or engineering. All you need

to do is take this amazing product out to the people who can benefit from it, so that the Seebox

can do its magic for them.

With every Seebox you get years' worth of valuable educational content, together with

interesting experiments to challenge and keep the learners engaged. We designed the Seebox to

use experiential learning in order to make difficult abstract concepts understandable.

The user creates a profile on the Seebox using his/her fingerprint. From that point onwards

Seebox becomes their own dedicated experienced electronics teacher who lets them learn at

their own pace. After every weekly 1-hour lesson they get a progress report via email.

Employers or parents can also log into the Seebox's website to view their progress in real-time.

The Seebox's educational content was created

for high school learners, people working in a

technical environment and anyone interested

to learn more about electricity and electronics,

using a practical hands-on approach.

For the high school learner, Seebox offers the

CAPS curriculum for the technical subjects of Electronics Technology, Digital Technology and

Electrical Technology. The end goal is for such a learner to be able to write the national exam

for the relevant subject at the end of grade 12, should they wish.

For the technical worker there is official EWSETA accreditation in the form of recognised Unit

Most importantly, anyone using Seebox will develop an in-depth understanding of the principles

of Electrical- and Electronic Engineering, as well as a practical problem-solving mindset, which

will benefit them in any future career.

Target Markets for Seebox Training

The franchise offers unique solutions for the following distinct and separate market segments:

Secondary Schools

There are 8,000 public and private high

schools in South Africa, not including the

homeschools market. Target ages are

from age 13 onwards. We have

encountered some exceptional learners

from age 11 able to follow the Seebox

material. Seebox is for the inquisitive

learner with an interest in engineering and

Corporate Technical Training

These include companies of any size and across

multiple sectors, including technology companies,

factories and mines. Companies are able utilise their

Corporate Social Development funds, and also Skills

Development funds to upskill their workers. Seebox

offers them EWSETA certification for workers who

have completed the course.

What we will do

We take the burden of administration and finances completely off you, the franchisee, so that

you can focus on one thing only - growing your business. We collect payments, send your

customers regular progress reports, and also market the Seebox Training at national level.

Furthermore, we provide the Learner Management System (LMS) to track the progress of every

individual user, and send regular progress reports to your customers. We also continually

expand our educational content in order to improve the offering to your customers.

If a student runs into a problem regarding the educational content, they can type a question

from within the Seebox software. The question will be answered by one of our experienced

engineers who will give the student further insight in order to solve the question themselves.

What you will need to do

All you need to do is focus on the most important stuff - marketing your training services to

schools and businesses in your area and giving the actual "classes".
